Why WordCamps matter
WordCamps aren’t just tech events. They’re community-driven gatherings that bring together people from all walks of life, developers, designers, marketers, bloggers, freelancers, and business owners, to learn, share, and grow together.
It’s a space where ideas meet action, and where support, collaboration, and curiosity lead the way.
Contributor Day – April 4, 2025
The event began with Contributor Day, a space dedicated to giving back to WordPress. Participants joined teams like Core, Design, Documentation, Polyglots, and Support. Whether someone was an experienced contributor or completely new, there was room for everyone to get involved. Our team also actively contributed during Contributor Day, joining the Photos and WP-CLI tables.
Bluehost at WordCamp Nepal
Bluehost took part in WordCamp Nepal 2025 as the Mount Everest Sponsor. Our team had the chance to meet many attendees, share insights, and talk about website challenges and goals. Visitors to the Bluehost booth explored our AI-powered Site Generator and Cloud solutions, which simplify website creation through customizable templates and intelligent content generation.
At the Bluehost booth, we handed out custom tumblers, stickers, and more—but the best part was the conversations and connections we made with the community.
Our team spent their time answering questions, listening to feedback, and learning from attendees’ experiences.
Sessions and workshops
WordCamp Nepal 2025 featured a wide range of sessions, including:
- Avinash Kundaliya on how to use AI and LLMs to make WordPress sites smarter
- Santosh Kunwar leading a hands-on workshop about building block themes with modern tools
- Adeline Dahal sharing how local businesses can improve SEO with Google Business Profiles
- Ishu Subedi Dharel exploring real-world UI/UX issues in an interactive “design detective” session
- Saloni Mehta guiding attendees through developing a WooCommerce extension from scratch
A few highlights
In addition to the sessions, attendees enjoyed a photo booth, swag giveaways, and the After-Party held on April 5th at Kundalini Royals in Attarkhel, Jorpati, Kathmandu. It was a relaxed way to wrap up the two-day event and connect with fellow community members.
